Guest guest
Crystal clear Nanda, I agree, follow the sadhana of one's guru. By "prepare", I was also alluding to preparing the body and nervous system for the energy input from the Guru. For instance, my understanding is that one key purpose of yoga asanas is to prepare the body, open energy channels, etc. for both sitting longer periods in asana and for the rise of kundalini energy. Dhayana yoga, bhakti yoga, kundalini yoga, diet, etc. all help to "prepare" ones mind, body, spirit, to be able to hold focus and accept the gifts that come when "Shiva wakes up"! I was giving myself a little lecture (publicly) about using my time wisely while waiting! I bet all those arti bells ringing from the beginners puja will stir him! Peace to all.
