Guest guest
Namaste Bharatji, I cannot begin to tell you the number of times that I took a sankalpa and could not keep it. I am slowly learning... I think what matters is that while we are kind with ourselves, we also are clear that we WANT to keep the sankalpa , and look for ways to keep the sankalpa. Here is something that helps me and may be of use to you too. I find that when I take a sankalpa for the welfare of a beloved one I am more likely to stick with sankalpa, because I want the loved person to get the benefits. So on Saturday, you might want to visualize someone very dear to you and tell yourself that you are doing for this person - and you will be surprised how you are able to keep the commitment. I know that I am. Hope this helps ! And hang in there ... YOU CAN DO IT!
