My Chandi

My murti of Chandi Maa wears a mala of deep blue stars.

 

Last week I found a dress in our local thrift shop that I really liked.

It fit well in the shoulders, had short sleeves but was very full and

long, perfect for meditating.

 

As I was preparing for Navaratri, I suddenly realized that the blue of

the cloth was exactly the same as the blue of Chandi's mala.

 

What serendipity.

 

Now I can dress like Maa for my pujas and our sankalpa.

 

Like Mother, like daughter.
