"God can be realized through all paths. All religions are true.

The important thing is to reach the roof. You can reach it by stone

stairs or by wooden stairs or by bamboo steps or by a rope.

You can also climb up by a bamboo pole."

it's like he is saying, it is our wish and desire that counts, not the

words or forms we take, all those mental concerns are not the critical

thing, it is our intent, our sustained intent.

Sjri Ramakrishna asl gave immense freedom to each individual to choose

whatever path he wants to choose. He by actions did super impose

any faith from outside, nor encourage one faith to another because it

is more attractive. Each has to pursue the path of God according to

his inner nature and evolution.

Correction to below: (the word nut got in there when I meant to say

but)

Yes, in my opinion it is like he is also saying that no particular

religion teaches the only way to salvation above all others, but that

all genuine religious paths are facets of God' love, deserving

tolerance and understanding. And this to me is one of Shri Ramakrishna

greatest gift to all mankind.
