yes, ms. nanda, you know i hear you, girl! :-) :-)

well, i just finished

my first day. as i mentioned previously it was a daunting task that i

approached with a bit of apprehension (can i last? will i scream and go

crazy sitting so long? will my legs fall off? can i keep my focus?

should i play the cd or try on my own? what am i committing to? what if

[fill in the blank], and etc. )

aside from my feline angels who kept coming near to try and get the

flowers i think i managed pretty well, actually. i did have to shift

my legs several times, and what began as somewhat of a chant-song

became a talk-chant soon after starting. the sound of my own voice in

a monotone type chant began to lull me into sleepiness a little which i

of course shook off and besides occasional thoughts of "i know i should

be getting to chapter 1 anytime now," i was really amazed that i

actually did make it through. amazed because at some point i thought,

"i'm not sure i can do this? what will happen if i don't make it? oh,

egyirba, you made a vow. you can do it. just keep going," yet, make it

i did! i felt relieved and pleased that i did make it. and then i

felt good for that was the first 'big' thing i've done.

i'm pleased as punch to

have joined the gang in this endeavor--the "oldtimers" and the

'youngins' like myself for maa and paa (shreemaa and swamiji) :-)

ok, ok, let me not get

so carried away. tomorrow's another day... :-D
