Guest guest
Namaste dear beloved family! It is day 3 of our blessed Sankalpa, and my heart is full, full, full!!! What bliss this is knowing that so many of our precious brothers and sisters are chanting the Divine Chandi Patha! Our dear devoted brother Shree Rick ji summed up my feelings about our Sankalpa beautifully, when he said to me: "Isn't this Navaratri sankalpa wonderful? I love the bhava of 27 of us doing this simultaneously all over the world, praising Maa and chanting Her mantras as if we were all one voice, singing in 27 parts." That is so beautiful and True! Some of our brothers and sisters are chanting the Chandi for the very first time! What an auspicious beginning! Several years ago when i first 'attempted' to chant the Chandi was...well...lets say...it was a challenge! Major understatement! i was totally overwhelmed by the Sanskrit pronunciation! i struggled and struggled! Then, one fine day, we got our VERY FIRST computer.[2002] i quickly discovered, as i was learning this daunting mechanical object, that it is an amazing spiritual tool! i discovered our dear Swamiji's Online Classes, and ignored every other thing except listening to his classes. The first ones i glued myself to, was the Chandi classes. Then, i sent for the MP3 of Maa and Swamiji chanting the Chandi. i was determined! i wanted to learn to chant the Sanskrit more than anything! Then...One day...It just happened!! i could chant! It flowed like a river of bliss! Jai Maa! It took on a 'life of it's own'. It was a miracle and a blessing of Grace...but remember what our beloved Swamiji says about Grace..."What you do, is what you get--and THAT'S the grace!" In other words, because of my determination and not giving up [what you do] i finally got the gracefilled gift of being able to chant.[what you get.] So any of our beloved brothers and sisters who may be struggling with the Sanskrit chanting, just do your best [for it's your heart that counts] and the rest will follow... as long as you don't give up sincerely trying! i love you all and sincerely wish for you to experience the joy and delight of worshiping Maa with Her Spiritual Weapon.. The Chandi Patha! Her Mantras are so powerful, and we need all the help we can get to destroy all the asuras that try to steal our peace! Have a very blessed Navaratri, and happy chanting! Jai Chandi Shree Maa! Jai Shiva Swamiji! Jai Ramakrishna Deva! Your sister beyond forever, muktimaa
Guest guest
Dearest sister Muktimaa, This is so beautiful, I barely have words. Your connection to Maa comes through so clearly. I agree with you strongly about chanting in Sanskrit. It may seem impossible at first, but with all the help from Shree Maa and Swamiji and regular practice it starts to flow. I used to struggle with the Cosmic Puja and then, as you said, it suddenly took on a life of its own and flowed like a river of bliss. Thank you for your inspiration, dear One.
