Dear Steve ~ thank you for this thoughtful post. What good examples you give. I have been having a lot of churning, not just for falling behind in the sankalpa (I am really glad I did not quit), but also in life circumstances. I am finding that each time I chant the Chandi, there is something there that helps me in a very specific way...almost as though it was written just for me. I wonder if others have felt this way reading the Chandi ~ how a universal book of worship can also seem so specific to the individual.
