Guest guest
I am singing to Mother About my longing to return into her She will come very soon To dissolve the anguish Of this conventional world. Be patient, Death, You will inevitably take my body, But do not expect me to fear you abjectly. Around my neck I wear the amulet of Tara’s name And the fragrant garland of her living presence. The Mother of the Universe is my queen And I am subject only to her. Other times I swim in the calm sea of abundance, Under every condition, she sustains me. The singer of this strange song can only cry: “All experience is the elusive play of Mother, impossible for the mind to comprehend. Could a foolish poet grasp her mystery That eludes even Lord Shiva Who is clear knowledge of ultimacy?
