Guest guest
Dear All, I have uploaded another picture of a section of the Cosmic Altar. The Goddess in the center is Mahalakshmi. According to our tradition "Sarvasadya Mahalakshmi Triguna Parameshwari" First came Mahalakshmi composed of the three gunas... To know more about Her and her manifestions , please read the "The Most Pre-eminent Secret" which a part of our sankalpa for Day 7 - last day of the Chandi. Some things to remember about Mahalakshmi * She is the presiding deity of the Middle Episode of the Chandi - Chapters 2,3 and 4 * The eighteen armed Mahalakshmi is called CHANDI. .... I request folks to add in more info on Mahalakshmi. Tomorrow at the Mandir, we will be doing Chamunda Puja (remember in which chapter Chanda and Munda are killed ?) .. I will keep you ALL in my thoughts when I participate in the homa. Jai Mahalakshmi Nanda

Guest guest
Mahalaksmi, the Destroyer of the armies of the ego, is also known as She who resides within. She is the Goddess who assumed the form of the Great Measurement of Darkness and the Spirit of All-Pervading Knowledge. After these 3 forms were produced the Goddess of True Wealth told them to produce pairs, male and female, according to their natures. Once these qualities come out of the Goddess into seperate forms, there is no longer balance. Chapter 7 deals with the slaying of Passion and Anger. Thanks for holding us in your thoughts at homa yesterday. May Chamunda bless us all.
