Guest guest
Namaste my beloved friends, I just finished Durga Puja Beginner as the rosy light of sunset began to embellish the mountain ridge across from my house. Earlier in the day I chanted the Atha Sapta Shloki Durga and Chapter 11 of the Chandi Path and read the English translation verse by verse. I also offered a Siva Puja Beginner with all the offerings and fresh daffodils as the flowers. In addition to the regular Arati, I spent quite a while singing to Lord Shiva and to my Gurus. This is Day 7 of my fast. It gets better each day. At this point there is little or no desire for food. There is a great feeling of freedom. When I get to this point I can understand why Ramakrishna and Shree Maa have had little or no interest in food. It really is a blessed state. I have much more energy and time for sadhana. Tomorrow is the big day. The end of our Navaratri sankalpa. It is also Prayer Club and Guru Gita class. Remember what you do is what you get (kripa, grace). So, let's go all out tomorrow and give with our whole hearts and souls. You know the blessings will more than outweigh the effort.
