"Too often rather than honoring Lakshmi we want to make her our

servant. We want wealth, comfort, prestige, health and good fortune

without taking the time to attune ourselves to the divine majesty from

which these qualities emanate. We want the fruit but we're too busy

indulging ourselves to plant the tree. From Devi Loka (the Goddess

World), Lakshmi merely smiles."
