Guest guest
Dear List, I just wanted to send a huge thank you to Maa and Swamiji for the "double sankalpa" of the Cosmic Puja and Chandi (broken down into small "bites"). It has been a really inspiring and remarkable practice for me. I am finding myself moving very very slowly through both texts whereas, usually, I might be really focusing on chanting at a faster pace or paying much more attention to breathing etc. I know that, eventually, we will all "master" all of these parts...the chanting, the breathing, the pace, the meter, the meaning, the asan...and the more we chant, the more the parts will come together very fluidly. But, right now, it has been just so helpful to slow down a bit and REALLY immerse myself in the "text portion for the day"...it has inspired me to make a greater effort to learn Chandi during the upcoming year. I feel great interest coming from the murtis in my puja room..and a sense that this is exactly what was needed at this time for me. The cosmic puja is also answering alot of questions that have been coming up recently in my own sadhana...most especially how to integrate "My" body, Devi's "body" and the "body" of Nature as ONE. Knowing in your mind that they ARE one is very good...but seeing clear ways of beginning to experience this are something quite wonderful. A heartfelt thank-you to Maa and Swamiji. The offering that they make to us with such generosity is beyond repaying. sadhvi
