On Sunday I did the complete Advanced Shiva Puja. I found it very

joyful and liberating.

Today I did the Sundar Kand, one of my very favorites. I missed being

able to chant it at the Mandir with all the samputs. I just read it

aloud in English. But I love to read it in English. It contains so

much teaching... like the Chandi Path.

So, I am just about to break my 10 day fast with a salad. I feel

really good. I went to work today for a full day of work. I feel light

and aware and full of love.

There is something I'd like to share with my brothers and sisters.

After 12 years with Shree Maa and Swamiji, Swamiji has given me a name.

It is Pahari Maa. It means Goddess of the Mountain or Mother of the

Mountain. But you guys can just think of me as Mountain Mama. As in

John Denver's song:

Take me home, country road, to the place I belong; West Virginia,

Mountain Mama, take me home, country road.

Take me home, country road, to the place I belong; Pine Cove, Mountain

Mama, take me home, country road.

Take me home, country road, to the place I belong; Napa County,

Mountain Mama, take me home, country road.

(West Virginia is where I spent my childhood summers; Pine Cove is my

current mountain home;

I think you've heard of my heart's home, a Mandir in the foothills of

Napa County).

You are all such a blessing to me!!

Pahari Maa

Beloved Nirmalananda and family,

Thank you for your joy and blessings.

In deed, this is such happy news.

The crowing glory of a glorious Navaratri.
