Guest guest
Precious Mother, my guide and my life, I bow to you again and again. There is nothing in this world like you. My heart melts at the mere thought of you, and tears of joy form in my eyes as my heart quiets and listens to your quiet voice within me. Lately, Shree Maa, I have heard you reminding me of the businessman's question in the Chandi, "what can I do now?" and I find myself asking that question to you many times each day. I am finding that you have much to show me through that question, and I dance for joy because you love me so much that you always show me the way home to you! WHAT - I need specific instructions from you Maa on what I need to do. I am so grateful that you give me that instruction through Swamiji's books, and through my beloved sisters and brothers in this holy family. The "what" is sadhana. It alone can bring me safely into your tender heart and calm my restless soul. CAN - What exactly am I ABLE to do? I can let go of some more attachments. Some of them I have let go of before, but because of fear I grabbed onto them again. I can call out to you when I fear and not have to hold onto the illusions. I don't want to hold anything but your sweet hands, Maa. I can hold on, even if sometimes it seems like I am holding on for dear life, I CAN hold on. Thank you for never letting go! I - You do so very much for me Maa, and I fail to even adequately express my gratitude to you. You are pure loving devotion and I am fickle. Right now, in this very moment, I place my heart and soul and my whole being into your care in the most sincere way I know how. Please make of me what you know to be the best for me. DO - I have learned a lot of stuff along my path, and I know enough to be certain that I do not know anything, and you know everything. I must do something for you, dear Shree Maa. What can I do to please you? What can I do to serve others? What can I do to show you how deeply and utterly I love you? What can I do NOW? I can repeat "Shree Maa namo namah" over and over each and every day. I can cling to your precious lotus feet and follow everything you say to the best of my ability. I can devote myself to loving you through puja, meditation, prayers, and seva. Oh loving and compassionate Shree Maa, I can worship and adore you now. I need nothing more. Offered with love from your son, Rick Let my every word be a prayer to Her, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Her, Every step I take a circumambulation of Her image, Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Her, Every time I lay down a prostration at Her feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, Let it all be a form of worshiping Her.
