Guest guest
Dear Nanda, Aum Namah Shivayah! Thank you for your kind words! Since I am an embodiment of infinite laziness, I would say what helped me most was remembering Maa and Swamiji. What words can we use to describe their love and inspiration? Except for one day, I chanted everyday in the evening (usually between 7 and 9). I initially started with the seedha path and every few days I added one more sloka, till one day I was chanting the entire book except for the aarthi and the second kshama prarthana. After that the asuras took over (I started traveling) and I would chant basically the seedha path and a few slokas from the beginning and back. Two things happened on most nights. First, almost everyday a moth or a bug would be visit where I sit. This is not unusual here, because six-legged creatures abound. But I would take it be a form of the Divine Mother. So the sadhana helped me to get a wee bit more tolerance for my insect friends. Once, I had a praying mantis, praying with me! Yesterday, one of them came and sat on me for a while. Second, a slight breeze would blow into the house, toward the end. That too I would take as a form of the Divine Mother. Its been a small-tiny baby step for me. I want to keep going, for the rest of this life, everyday. That was my prayer to Mother in Chapter 13, yesterday. May She and Lord Shiva bless us that we reduce our entanglements with the world and become more entangled in their love. with love and prayers, srini , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> wrote: > > > Srini wrote > > Dear Brothers and Sisters, > > > > Aum Namah Shivayah! > > > > By the grace of our beloved Maa and Swamiji, I was able to chant 108 > > Seedha Paths this year. > > > Dear Srini, > YOU are an outstanding inspiration to me and I am sure to all of us. > Let us not forget that you have done this in 108 days STRAIGHT THRO > WITHOUT A BREAK. > > Please share with us how you have accomplished this sadhana.
