Dear Pahari Maa,

I sent you a private post a couple of days ago. Of course you need not

react if you don't feel the need to, but now I am worried I may have

offended you. Could you tell me in a private post if this is the case?

with love,

Henny

Dear Henny,

I don't believe that I received a private post from you. Please send

it again.

I'm pretty hard to offend.

Love to you, sweetie,

Pahari Maa

Dear Mountain Mum,

I sent you this text some time ago as a spontaneous reaction to the

news of you receiving your new name. I was so happy for you that I

wanted to let you know immediately. But my message never reached you.

I tried again this morning, but received a failure notice, so

something is not quite right. But I still

would like to share my feelings of joy and congratulate you with your

most beautiful name, albeit a little late, so here it is:

>From my house in the valley

I look up, I look up

and I see you

there

smiling and waving and dancing and singing

your body aglow with the light

of the Sun and the Moon

solid and strong

a tower of faith

a rock

And as I set out

on my journey alone

I know the path I must take

looking up, looking up,

you are always

there

smiling and waving and dancing and singing

your body aglow with the light

of the snow-white snow

burning cold

a pillar

a beacon

Sitting down by the stream

I look in, I look in

and I see you

here

smiling and waving and dancing and singing

you are aglow with the light

of that fire that warms me

that kindles, restores me

that sweet fire of love

of the Lord of the Mountain

that always burns in our heart.

as you say you're not offended easily, I'm sure you will excuse the

bad poetry,

with love,

Henny
