I feel that this is very true and unfortunately that is what those of us who live further away physically and/or have never met Maa and Swamiji in person are not able to do. So even small things like you told us about Swamiji's computer can help...I am beginning to think that I was wrong when I thought that the Guru in physical form is hard to find. You must be prepared to be found. Dear Henny ~ you are so new to the group and yet your devotion is already an example to me. You are a role model for me! Two things to maybe help with the not-having-actually- met-the-guru issue: one is the wonderful video, "Across the States with Shree Maa and Swamiji" (a wonderful video that will give you the experience of feeling you are with them in their travels, as they do yagya and bhajans, and as Maa would say "sing and dance"; the other is the book "Sahib Sadhu" (White Holy Man), about Swami's own process of learning and doing after he went to India. I am reading this now, and it is wonderful ... so inspiring. I also think that when we find the Guru(s), and they are the ones we want to emulate, we have to realize that they are God and Goddess incarnate, and that we are imperfect human beings doing our very best. Just putting the picture of Swami next to your computer is an act of faith and humility and shows you want to follow his example. It has been wonderful to me, Henny, to see you come to the group and so quickly dive in, do the sankalpas, ask all your wonderful questions (they help us too). And as you say, there is no judgement here, so while I still stumble along on my Chandi sankalpa (I am almost done), I still feel the support of all the wonderful people here. It is a good place to be. Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda
