Guest guest
Heart to Heart with the Goddess One day I was sitting on the daybed at the back of the temple. I was the only one in the temple. Shree Maa came in and sat down at the other end of the daybed. She had several packets of photographs from her latest tour. She spread them out so that I could see them. She pointed to one of Swamiji at the Hawan Kund and said “He made it in this one. He is in samadhi.” It was like a Mother talking about her prize pupil. Then she started talking about the difficulties of being on tour. I told her that I couldn’t stand crowds. She told me that she didn’t like crowds either; that in India some people grabbed at her clothing and even grabbed parts of her body. I was amazed. I couldn’t imagine anyone treating her with such disrespect. She said “don’t blame them, they are just so hungry for Divine Love.” I suddenly found myself saying “it seems to me like the Westerners come to you to get something. The Indians come to show respect and love.” I also said “it bothers me that the Westerners come because you are a woman and because you are from India”. She said “I don’t like it either.” I asked her to tell me how she met Swamiji. She told me the story as it is told in “Shree Maa, the Life of a Saint”. But then she told me more. She said that right before she met Swamiji she had a dream in which she saw Christ coming down from Heaven with the Durga Saptasati (Chandi Path) in his hand. I was stopped in my tracks. Then she said “ I was having a lot of dreams and visions of Jesus in those days.” Attachment: (text/enriched) [not stored]

Guest guest
I remember reading somewhere or hearing that Maa had said that Swamiji is an "amsa" of Jesus. I get chills and tears come to my eyes every time I think of this. So thrilling to be on the Earth at this time...so many great beings are here! Guest guest
Amsa is a term that indicates a "part", like an emanation. Sometimes people will say "amsa avatar", so it's a type of avatar (incarnation, embodiment). I felt Maa was saying that Swamiji is an emanation of Jesus. Does that mean reincarnation, or emanation from the enlightened consciousness? I really can't say. But I definitely see Swamiji as sharing fully in Jesus's Divine Consciousness. Jai Maa!
