Guest guest
My dear and wonderful Mother, I look at your image above my altar and I know there is room for me in your heart. I can tell by the peaceful concentration of your face that even though you are the Mother of the Universe, you can see me and hear me when I cry to you. I feel like a pest sometimes and think that my worries and concerns are not worthy of your time. It is in those times that I remember how resilient Nisumbha is, and all I can do is laugh at myself and sing a round or two of Durga Chalisa to you. I love it when we laugh together at the foolishness of my ego. Thank you for the opening awareness that you have given me. It feels like I have come light years from where I was just a couple of years ago. I probably haven't come all that far, but I like this perspective much better. Thank you for filling me with love for the Chandi and the other scriptures. I long to do Shree Maa puja to you on your birthday, or maybe even Mother's Day. I long to show you what I am learning and know that you are pleased with my efforts. Your pleasure is my bliss. Beloved Mother, you are the bedrock on which I am held secure. You are the bones that form my spirit body. You are the spark of life that animates my being and creates a million new and wondrous experiences each day. You are my light and my darkness. You are my sadness and my joy. You, dear Shree Maa, are my everything. Today may I live each moment bathed in your divine grace and love. Today, let be a conduit for your love and compassion to all that I encounter. This is my earnest desire Maa. Offered with love from your son, Rick Let my every word be a prayer to Her, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Her, Every step I take a circumambulation of Her image, Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Her, Every time I lay down a prostration at Her feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, Let it all be a form of worshiping Her.
