As you know, we have been discussing the Guru Gita on Saturdays at

11.30 PT. Of late, seeing the reduced attendance , Swamiji suggested

that we discuss Guru Gita in our regular discussions on the group.

Swamiji has suggested that we discuss one verse a day. Until we get a

volunteer , I will be posting one verse a day each day and invite

discussions on the group. Any questions that come out of these

discussions, I will forward to Swamiji and post when I hear back from

him.

While we had some very good times during our Saturday discussions, I

suppose we have to make changes when things dont work out. Shiva and

Guru the transformer at work.

That's just a wonderful sankalpa, Arjuna! Congratulations on your

progress. How many do you do each day, and when did you start?

can't on Saturday. Changes in my schedule and a good dose of humility

and honesty are working to keep my sadhana at a steady workable level.

I have had to drop back from participation in the prayer group for

similar reasons. I was having to go back to the office to get the

sankalpa on Saturday. So for my part, I just include everyone in my

regular practice of Mahamrityunjaya. By the grace of Shree Maa and

Swamiji, I completed 25000 repetions, 12500 for the ancestors, and an

offering of 12500 to Agni. Now I am doing the 12500 to Varuna. With

their grace, I hope to complete my sankalpa of a 125000 repetitions.

In that decision to undertake it I vowed to share the merit with all

with whom I come in contact.
