Dear Linda,

thank you for your thoughtful response and for the illustrations from

the Chandi. I certainly share your amazement. The one from Chapter 4

blew me away when I first read it : the mystery of Divine Love, not

annihilation, but transformation; nothing is lost (it reminded me of

Origines' teaching of the final redemption of all, which was rejected

by the Church. Even though I have forgotten most of what I learned

about the History of the Church I always remembered this because I

felt it must be right). The second text you quoted I did not remember

at all and I am glad you took the trouble to bring it to my attention.

It is such a powerful image! You are right, the 'secret' that 'there

is no other' is part of the Western tradition as well. East and West

do meet.

this is beautiful, Linda. Why indeed?

may we truly see and experience,

with love,

Henny
