In some mythologies, one chases the other around, and that is why we have night and day. And yet sun and moon are like two sides of a coin when it comes to life on Earth. We need them both. So I think what you said was very beautiful and true: "that when we understand that the Guru is our true Self, sun and moon become one..." I am speechless!
