Guest guest
Oh Holy Mother Shree Maa, namo namah, Lately I am so amazed at this thing we call life. I cannot see it as a quirk of fate that I am here now. I know you have a grand design that I fit into because sometimes that plan is crystal clear to me. And in those times I am right with the world and the world is pure paradise. In those times I can hear your voice and feel your arm around my shoulder walking beside me and lovingly guiding me where I need to go. Ah, beloved Mother, that is the life! Something in my innermost being desires only your company. Something deep within me thrives on thinking of you and singing songs of adoration to you. Sometimes I feel sad for the multitudes that do not even care that you love them. I suppose they also feel sorry for me because they think I "have to give up" so many things. What has been given up when one has gained the whole universe? I am seeing life bursting forth all around me in this season, and it all is a glorious hymn to your life-giving and life-sustaining presence. I walk in this life filled with the wonder of sights and smells and tastes and textures that you provide for me in abundance, and I am so very blessed. Thank you so much for this life, Maa. What a magnificent gift it is! I do not want to waste even one moment of it, but I must have your help. Precious Maa, take my hand, lead me on, help me stand. I am tired, I am weak, I am worn. Through the storms and through the night, lead me on to the light. Take my hand, precious Maa, lead me home! Offered with love from your son, Rick Let my every word be a prayer to Her, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Her, Every step I take a circumambulation of Her image, Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Her, Every time I lay down a prostration at Her feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, Let it all be a form of worshiping Her.
