Love and trust in God. Do not ask for anything else. --Shree Maa

Dear devotee and all ~ I was glad to see this and be reminded of

getting back to the most very basics. I have been in trouble,

emotionally, and it is all because my monkey mind has been trying to

get things it cannot possibly get. I think this needs to be my mantra

for awhile. Jai Maa ~ Linda

Dear children of God:

I too have been trying to keep this profound saying of Shree Maa's at

the forefront of my mind and heart. It was scary at first, because the

ego tried to con me with thoughts like "well, what if I really NEED

something--what if someone I love gets sick? I would have to pray for

that person to get better..." etc., etc.

but I found, as I surrendered to Kali in every moment and gave Her my

every desire, that I desired HER more and more, and that my attention

shifted from the whims of the ego. one thing that has helped me

through this somewhat trying period has been gratitude--to offer

gratitude to God as often as I can during the day. there's always

something to be grateful for, even if it's that one is still

breathing. (usually it's a whole lot more--we can always give thanks

for Maa and Swamiji, for Ramakrishna, for Ramprasad, for this

group, for the scriptures, for chocolate...)

thanks for reminding us of this beautiful thought. blessings to Shree

Maa and Swamiji for always reminding us (and showing us through their

lives) that if you have God in your heart, you already have everything

you could ever want.
