Guest guest
Dear All, Swamiji has defined grace as "Kri-Pa" = "What you put into is what you get out of it".OK – have heard that before , you say .. but I bring this up in the context of one person that has never met Maa and Swamiji but is one of their greatest devotees. This devotee read about Maa in "The Daughters of the Goddess", and inspired started buying one book after another from the Mandir and reading up on Maa and Swamiji and Chandi and Guru and Shiva and … , because of lack of sufficient knowledge in English (big hint here) started to translate them into the native language of the devotee to understand them better. This trying to understand the works of Swamiji, naturally lead to a dialogue between this devotee and Swamiji and a deep and close respect burgeoned between both parties. Before long , this devotee had translated several of Swamiji's books and now will share the knowledge by making the translations available to all soon … So where is the Kri-pa? Did this devotee have something that many others don't? Or did this devotee merely take the opportunity to learn – and trying to learn is a GREAT WAY to please Swamiji. And in this process did the seva of translation, earned the grace of knowledge, won the love and respect of the Gurus, and endeared everyone with her (big give away) devotion and utter humility… She is our querida Kalachandra . The language that she has translated so many of Swamiji's books is Portuguese. And she has not yet even met Maa and Swamiji in their physical forms. She is a shining example of Kripa and devotion to her Gurus. Also an example for all the people at a distance that are not able to meet Maa and Swamiji as well as those that are near him but sometimes don't appreciate the opportunity. Thank you Querida for your example. I bow to you with love and respect. Nanda
