Namaste all,

Mother has taught me something today. My physical mother lives in a

nursing-home in another town and is not in the best of health, both

mentally and physically. So I tend to worry about her and feel guilty

because I am not in a position to take care of her myself. And

frustrated, because communication between us has become more

difficult. And then, today, I read this beautiful name of the Divine

Mother: 'She who is the Mother of the Aged' and I realized my mother

has a Mother too who takes care of her and watches over her. Sometimes

She uses my hands and feet and eyes to do so, and sometimes those of

others. Would She who takes care of the universe not take care of my

mother? And I read: 'She who is an Old Lady' and when I think of my

physical mother now, I see Her shining through that frail form,

JAI Vrddha!! JAI Vrddhamata!!! JAI MAA!!!!!!!

Henny,

May God bless you and your dear mother during this difficult period of

life.

Rukmani,

Thanks so much for this. It's like opening a little window into the

Satya Yuga and peeking in. I do so enjoy these little images of life

at the Devi Mandir.

Jai Maa!

offered it to Maa.
