My physical mother lives in a nursing-home in another town and is not in the best of health, both mentally and physically. So I tend to worry about her and feel guilty because I am not in a position to take care of her myself. And frustrated, because communication between us has become more difficult. And then, today, I read this beautiful name of the Divine Mother: 'She who is the Mother of the Aged' and I realized my mother has a Mother too who takes care of her and watches over her. Dear henny ~ this realization is so beautiful. I am not at all near my mother, who is very sick, and everytime there is a "crisis," I get upset. Once, I even moved back to Oregon during one of these "crisis" times, but then she got better. She gets worse, and then better, and then worse, and then better...fortunately, she is not in a nursing home. Her husband is 15 years younger than her, so he takes very good care of her. I worry about him a bit because he is so stubborn and wants to do it all himself and won't take the help from home health care that is available to him. But I very much identify with your feelings, and I thank you for sharing your realization because it helps me too. Jai Maa ~ Linda
