Dear Kali and All ~ since this doesn't mention the word, 'Guru,' at all, it is, at first glance, a bit difficult to understand. Yet in previous verses, we have read that the Guru can even curse the Gods themselves, so the Guru is, in fact, the Supreme. (S)He may exist in a form, yet as another verse taught us, His/Her movements may be incomprehensible, and yet, we are still to follow. This incomprehensibility, to me, connects the Guru as Supreme to the "eternal supreme divinity beyond form and attributes." And then we are told this inecplicable supreme divinity is within all ~ each of us, all things, all not things. And as all lights are illuminated by one light, so the Guru ignites the light within us and makes us aware of it. Jai Guru ~ Linda
