Guest guest
Dear Linda, I loved what you wrote: If I am looking out of my body, and I see discord, > unhappiness, tragedy, then I need to go within and see what is happening > inside, because the outside is a reflection of the inside, just as the verse says > in the mirror being the clear reflection of the image which stands before > it. that's beautiful; not to blame someone else or 'circumstances' for unhappiness or discord (and thus creating more of the same), but instead to go within...and I realize how difficult this must be sometimes. I myself find it often difficult to remember, and go on blaming other people or 'situations' and then later regretting having done that etc. etc....May we remember to go within..! > Perhaps this is why Maa encourages us to go look in the mirror every morning > and greet ourselves lovingly. YES! It helps! I once went to a course where we all had to look in a mirror and say to ourselves "I love you" and although I felt ridiculous at the time, it made me feel happy for a week! I often forget it (and think negative thoughts about how my face looks in the morning..). May we all remember to do what Shree Maa tells us! Dear Nierika, your post showed to me that your name is very well chosen, with love, Henny , nierika@a... wrote: > > Kali Kali wrote (on Guru Gita Verse 114): > > "Just as one sees in a mirror the clear reflection of the image which stands > before it, just so, uniting So and Ham (nature and consciousness) in the > ultimate bliss, the individual soul is the reflection of infinite > consciousness." > > > Dear Kali ~ I particularly love this passage, partially because I love the > twin swans (as they are called in the Chandi) of So and Ham, their meaning, > using them as a mantra, etc. If I am looking out of my body, and I see discord, > unhappiness, tragedy, then I need to go within and see what is happening > inside, because the outside is a reflection of the inside, just as the verse says > in the mirror being the clear reflection of the image which stands before > it. > > Perhaps this is why Maa encourages us to go look in the mirror every morning > and greet ourselves lovingly.
