Namaste,

I thought that I would share with you the short version of how I

ended up here.

Ever since I was a child,I have sought the Divine. When other children

played...I meditated and thought about spiritual matters. When I got a

little older,I read about and studied many different religions.I

always found Hinduism to be where I belong but I ended up going in

another direction.I was a Muslim (Sufi) for several years.I found

great beauty in it but still...it was not home.

I looked into different forms of Paganism but still could not find

where I belonged.Then,a little over a year ago,my friend (who I refer

to as my brother)became a Hindu (Saiva Siddhanta).Through him I

started to study Hinduism again.

I found myself ultimately drawn to Shaktism.I have always looked for

guidance (a Guru) but never found any.So...I made a prayer to the

Great Mother. When I came across the Shree Maa website...I instantly

recognized my Teachers.Shree Maa and Swamiji are who I have been

looking for for so long.I knew that I had come home.

Well...this is the short version.I hope that I have not bored you

all :)

Jai Maa!

Stirananda,

Well, welcome home, then! The inner guidance of the guru tattwa is

subtle and wondrous.

Shree Maa and Swamiji are a deep well of the purest spiritual essense.

May you draw deeply and receive all that you need.

Jai Maa!

Namaste Stirananda,

you are blessed indeed. Can I ask you what your name means, if that's

not impertinent (and if it is, please ignore the question)

with love,

Henny
