Daily Reflection:May 19 – WorshipAt the crack of dawn the next

morning, we bathed at the banks of the Niranjana River. There were no

flowers there to use in our worship, but Swamiji was unperturbed. "We

shall do our puja an yagya with sand and leaves" he told me. The puja

went on for the entire day. All we had were leaves and a few sticks of

incense. Swamiji drew the yantra in the sand, the sacred symbol which

is the seat of the deity, and for each of the mantras of the Chandi

Path, he placed a dry leaf on the yantra. – Sushil Choudhuryfrom
