Dear Kali Kali ~ There is not much I can add to what you wrote. It was beautiful and clear. I just wanted to share with you and the group the feeling that I had when I read this verse. When I read "The consecrated offering in the energy known as kundalinni," it was as though a ribbon of awareness swept through my body from the body up. I had a moment of bliss. I don't know how terms of Hinduism have been explained to people sometimes, but I was cued to see the kundalini (snake) as bad because of the chakra it is associated with. Kind of like women being evil because of Eve (snake) in the Garden of Eden. The idea of kundalini as a consecrated offering caused my mind to have a complete flip flop. With this idea why would one do anything but regard this energy as precious, as something to be appreciated and nourised, and in its time, allow the snake to awaken, unfold and begin its journey to blossom.
