Liberation is attained in the sacred syllables. Liberation is attained in form. Liberation is attained also in that which is beyond form. Dear Kali Kali ~ this is a most wonderful verse, and in some ways, I believe a culmination of all the patterns that Chris has so wonderfully described. The Giver of Boons could be Shiva, but certainly is also the Guru, and the idea of consecrated offerings has been mentioned before, most recently in the verse about the kundalini being consecrated. So what we are given here is a kind of "user friendly" nutshell description of the ways to attain liberation. We might use all, or we might use one. Yet, as the verse explicitly states, the person who resides in liberation beyond form (the Supreme) is "liberated without a doubt." I'm sure there are more meanings to this and I look forward to reading what others have to say. Blessings ~ Linda P.S. I am a bit behind; I noticed there is another digest already in my inbox. I have been sick again, so I hope everyone will bear with my lagging responses.
