Question from Nanda:

My understanding is the balance of Rajas and Tamas is Sattva. Is this

correct? Thank you for your time.

 

Swamiji's response:

No, Sattva is a quality all its own - not just a balance between the

other two. When all three qualities are in perfect balance it is

called Nirguna, without any particular quality.
