Guest guest
Dear Aravind, Swamiji confirmed that the Kalpataru mudra is indeed the Mrga Mudra - this is the mudra that Ramakrishna is making with his right hand in his famous picture of him in Samadhi. Lieve Henny, You are absolutely correct - I just referred to the Shiva Dhyanam and sure enough Shiva is holding his left hand in the Mrga mudra. I am not sure that I have seen Maa's picture with the mrga mudra - she has often displayed the tattva mudra or the chin mudra. I will forward your question to Swamiji - but I think it is a beautiful inference that the mrga mudra is a characteristic for the Consciousness of Infinite Goodness. Much love to you Nanda , "henny_v_i" <HvI@S...> wrote: > Nandaji, > > now you mention the term mrga mudra: isn't that the same mudra that is > described in the Shiva dhyanam?
