Namaste Devnath,

Thank you for the question and for encouraging us to define our

goals.

My goal is to be of service to God .

I will manifest it by

1) Serving a Guru and learn from this Guru to sit in one asan and do

consistent sadhana with pranayam

2) share the benefits of this sadhana by doing this practice for the

welfare of the world

3) share the privilege of whatever I learn, with the world.

And have a wonderful time doing it.

I pray that along the way that God becomes a REAL , living ,

breathing, achingly wonderful, all consuming love affair for me.

Dear Devnath,

Om Namah Shivayah!

Thank you for asking. I made this list yesterday.

My goals are:

Actions:

a. Long term: Do 8 hours of sadhana daily, Short term: Do 4 hours of

sadhana daily.

b. Practice moderation in food and sleep

c. Use mind and body to serve the world (have'nt figured that one

yet)

d. Sit with good asan and pranayam.

e. Not idle and sit around doing nothing

f. Serve the Guru like Hanuman.

g. Memorize Slokas

Attitudes:

a. Feel like I am Child of God

b. Compassion to all

c. No worry - no fear

d. Enthusiasm - Energetic

Our Beloved Swamiji told me praying to Goddess Lakshmi will remove

confusion about Goals. If you present your best goal to Her, She

will make it happen.

Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji!

with love and prayers

Srini,

This is a really fine bhaava, a really fine discipline, well

considered and clear. I pray you will perfect it.
