Verse 95 says "in the morning, remember the divine name in the brilliant lotus in the head along with the Guru with two eyes and two arms who grants the freedom from fear and peace." We keep this meditation for a few minutes, then after preparing for sadhana recite this Guru Gita with all the devotion possible. Take that feeling of love which you feel and share it with the world." Dear Kalia and all, Wonderful suggestion . Did you have any specific day in mind Kalia - it will be great if you inform a particular day next week and we can all join in. Guest guest
Dear Kalia, one thing: what is meant by 'the divine name' in verse 95? Is it the word 'gu-ru' (cf. vs.23-24 and 107), the name Shiva, or the name by which the 'physical guru' is known? with love, Henny , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> wrote: > Kalia said > "Comment: Can we make a day to practice verse 95 of this text > followed by recitation of the Guru Gita and see what happens? Guest guest
Dear Nanda, Chris, Henny, Kala Chandra, and all, Thanks for responding. Thursday is the day that comes to mind since Thursday is celebrated as "Guru Day". Can we schedule 9 June as the day? That way we will have some time to clear any questions. Also, based on Chrisji's response, it will be left up to the individual as to what or how much of the experience is shared. Hope this is acceptable to all. Jai Guru! Pranams. Guest guest
I take the chance and say either GuRu or Om Namah Shiva. GuRu is the energy not the physical name, but since this is only my perception I prefer to clear this with Swamiji. Will let you know as soon as possible -ok?
