Guest guest
Daily Reflection: June 5 – Work Ramakrishna: I’m telling you the truth. It‘s no fault of yours to be worldly, but you should keep your mind focused of God. If you don’t do that, you won’t be able to achieve your spiritual goals. Do your work with one hand and with the other hand grab onto God. When your karma is complete, then you’ll be able to hold onto God with both hands. The mind is both the source of your liberation as well as the source of your bondage. Guest guest
This is a very beautiful passage, filled with hope and instruction for those in difficult circumstances who are frustrated by their inability to fully develop their faith and devotion. There was a period of some years in my life where I found I was unable to continue my practices. Fortunately, I had a firm belief in the faithfulness of God, and knew that if I only held firmly my desire to, eventually, resume my sadhana, God would would not let me fall completely into ignorance, but would one day provide the means for me to resume. She did. I held fast with one hand, as I was able at the time. She is ever gracious to those who desire Her. Jai Maa!
