Guest guest
These are very interesting questions. I would like to venture an answer to # 2 , which is; 2> about those who merge there identity into the divine mother, would they lose everything including there mind ifso then who is the enjoyer and what is the point in doing so If one one cant enjoy in the personal ego the bliss If everything that exists is Divine Mother, then who was there to enjoy the bliss of realization in the first place? The identity that was merged into Mother was already Her identity, and the idea of an individual was only an illusion. Mother is already the enjoyer of the bliss of realization, but the limited ego is able to enjoy the journey to realization, even though the limited ego is also Mother's own. If the limited ego can see that EVERYTHING is Mother, including it's own illusion, then it enjoys supreme bliss, and is drawn further towards the ultimate realization. Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA here is a non qualified attempt to answer your questions, so take them with a grain of salt. 1. maybe consciousness is with Mother, I would think your conciousness is not located in your body, that is how you can travel in your dreams. 2. I would guess you can't know what samadhi is based on the past. It's not where your from its where your at. 3. all religions worship the Divine Mother. Swami Sivananda says that truly speaking all beings of the universe are Shakti worshippers, for there is none who does not love and long for power in some form or other. The Upanishad says, "The Para Shakti, the Supreme Power of this God is heard of in various ways, this power is the nature of God manifesting as knowledge, strength, and activity. Devi is the conscious power of Deva. 4. you probably earn a return trip to try to finish what you started. 5. he is here now in Shree Maa and others. 6. God helps those who help themselves. to quote Neem Karoli Baba, "it's better to see God in everything than to try to figure it out." Guest guest
I didn't say they weren't relevent, I said they were intelectual. I don't feel I can answer your questions to your satisfaction. I think you'll find that no one can answer them to your satisfaction and that the burning you feel will persist. And trust me, that's a good thing. Here's my next question. Why do you desire to know the answers to these questions? To put it another way, where does this desire to know originate? Guest guest
As one mystic ( swami satyananda saraswathi from bihar school of yoga) says, as one approaches perfection in visualising the ideal internally so as to lose the awareness of the body, one becomes aware of the presence of the deity and gets messages from the ideal on the subtle plane Since I have not reached perfection in meditation, I am curious to know what is beyond and the closest I could come in getting to know the presence of my favourite deity was during my most lowest point in my life where I had dislocated my shoulder for the 7 th time and I could not even walk out of the house, praying to the divine mother and thinking of her alwaysi could feel her presence, but she did relieve my suffering at that moment of time The silver lining to this was due to my shoulder problem I have got the blessing of Swamiji and shree maa. I hope I could answer about my desire to know things that can be known when one goes to the other side regards vikram on some daysBrian McKee <brian (AT) soulspark (DOT) org> wrote: I didn't say they weren't relevent, I said they were intelectual. Guest guest
Namaste Vikram, If I understand you correctly -- please tell me if I have this wrong -- you wish to know the answers to these questions for two reasons: first, you're curious to know what lies beyond the perceived worlds. Second, during a low point, when you were in so much pain that you only thought of divine mother and could feel her presence (you may want to consider re-defining "low point") you were suddenly healed and wish to understand how or why Maa did that. So the answer to "why do you want to know these things?" is: you wish to know Her. Now, lets tackle that other question I asked, "Where do these desires to know Her come from?" Look inside and use your intellect to locate where these desires to know Her originate. You can think of it as a riddle -- a riddle of your Being. Do you mind doing that little experiment for me? I'd love to know what you find while you look for the source of your desire to know Her. Guest guest
HI Brian you are right, I am curious to know what lies beyond. About my health problem, I was not healed suddenly, but at that point of time I used to pray lot and think of the divine mother Yes, I need to redifine low-point,since the incident made me think of divine mother a lot, The reason why these desire originate is a big question mark I really cant tell how I am attracted to the divine mother, I am not able to express them in writing Well after thinking a lot, Its better if I wait for these answers to come from within myself rather than thinking about them, since they are not really relevant to my progress on spirituallity I really want to know why is the divine mother so compassionate towards me,since its only because of her I got the grace of great spiritual saints like Shree maa and swamiji regards vikram , Brian McKee <brian@s...> wrote: > Namaste Vikram, > > If I understand you correctly -- please tell me if I have this wrong -- > you wish to know the answers to these questions for two reasons: first, > you're curious to know what lies beyond the perceived worlds. Guest guest
Such a fun conversation. Thank you for chatting with me. > HI Brian [snip] > The reason why these desire originate is a big question mark > > I really cant tell how I am attracted to the divine mother, > > I am not able to express them in writing This is phenominal. Those are the feelings you must search out and connect with. It is when your mind utterly fails to find words to match the depth and breadth of inner feeling that you are touching She Who Tears Apart Thought. Confusion means that Durga is present. > > Well after thinking a lot, Its better if I wait for these answers > > to come from within myself rather than thinking > > about them, since they are not really relevant to my progress on > > spirituallity Ask yourself: where does progress come from? What is spiritual progress? What part of me progresses? Better yet, form those questions in your mind and search those deep feelings you mention above for the answers. Wonderful discussion.
