I believe, with the exception of Nirvikalpa Samadhi, there IS the feeling of "the enjoyer" in the other kinds of samadhi. For further reading on this topic , I would encourage you to read the Kasyapa Sutras for which Swamiji has given a beautiful commentary. It is in the book "The Guru and the Goddess" and is available at http://www.shreemaa.org/bookstore.htm You can also hear the explanation on the different kinds of Samadhi in the online video clip called "An Introduction to Chandi" available in http://www.shreemaa.org/media.htm Hope this helps Jai Maa Nanda
