Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Everyday there is reason to celebrate and honour Beloved Gurus but Thursday is the day specially set aside for this purpose. Some of us here at the Devi Mandir Satsanga Club are expressing our love and devotion to our Gurus today by reciting the Guru Gita. Would you like to join us? You can choose whatever time of the day suits you best but please share the fruit of your worship with the world by sending love to all. Chant Guru’s name, Chant Guru’s mantra, Chant “Om Namah Shivyai”. Remember – The Guru directs the performance of the drama on the stage of all existence. The Guru pours forth the rain of the nectar of compassion. The Guru is the entire garland of all principles. The Guru is the creator of all time. The Guru is the perceiver of truth, consciousness and bliss. There is one divinity, one ideal of perfection, one allegiance, the highest austerity. The Guru is the highest of the highest. There is no other principle beyond the Guru. Blessed is the mother, blessed is the father, blessed is the family and blessed is the lineage. Blessed is the earth, oh Goddess, because of he who has devotion to the Guru, which is so difficult of attainment. May the Respected Guru’s divine perception be eternally fixed upon us. Pranams. Guest guest
No you did not miss anything. Just want to remind that as we go our ways to keep the mind fixed on Guru by repeating His/Her name - make a rythm and sing/chant for instance "ShreMaa, ShreeMaa, ShreeMaa". If you have been initiated and given mantra by the Guru (guru mantra), than can also be repeated. Hope this helps. Make your mind one-pointed in meditation, and your heart will be purified...With all fears dissolved in the peace of the Self and all desires dedicated to Brahman, controlling the mind and fixing it on me (God), sit in meditation with me as your only goal. With senses and mind constantly controlled through meditation, united with the Self within, an aspirant attains nirvana, the state of abiding joy and peace in me. --Bhagavad Gita 6:12-15 -=-=- ....
