Guest guest
Dear All, If you remember the message from Ramya, Swamiji was VERY happy to receive our goals and to offer them to Mahalakshmi for us during his Cosmic Puja. I got a note from a few beloved members who have requested me to forward their goals this weekend to Swamiji. Are there any more members that would like to join in on the second offering ( those that have already given the first time - unless you have a change of goals in the last week, you do not need to send me the goals again). If you would like to do so, please send me your goals to chandimaakijai by Sunday Jun 12th 4 pm Pacific Daylight Time. I look forward to seeing Swamiji VERY happy with our group for the second time :-) this week. JAI JAI JAI JAI GURU Nanda
Guest guest
Dear Nanda, Please forward this to Swamijee. My goal is to find financial independence so that I can find time to worship divine mother and also fulfil my household responsibilities. I pray to mother to make this possible. Thanks, Ruchi -- In , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> wrote: > Dear All, > If you remember the message from Ramya, Swamiji was VERY happy to > receive our goals and to offer them to Mahalakshmi for us during his > Cosmic Puja. > > I got a note from a few beloved members who have requested me to > forward their goals this weekend to Swamiji. > > Are there any more members that would like to join in on the second > offering ( those that have already given the first time - unless you > have a change of goals in the last week, you do not need to send me > the goals again). > > If you would like to do so, please send me your goals to > chandimaakijai by Sunday Jun 12th 4 pm Pacific Daylight Time. > > I look forward to seeing Swamiji VERY happy with our group for the > second time :-) this week. > > JAI JAI JAI JAI GURU > Nanda
Guest guest
-Dear Group members, There have been some questions on my mind for some time and I was wondering if you experienced folks can help me sort this out. I know in my heart I love mother but I also desire comfortable life money and stuff. More so I feel that I should provide the best of education and everything I can for my son. I mean in terms of everyday life I want to be atleast at par with my peers you know have some time and money on hand to go on a nice vacation, visit my family back in india etc So the question is how do I find a balance between the two. A long time ago I had this dream with Shree maa where I am standing knee deep in all this muck and she is giving me bundles of money saying is this what you want. All this came to my mind while I was thinking about my goals. Please enlighten me on what you guys think. Many Thanks and Regards, Ruchi -- In , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> wrote: > Dear All, > If you remember the message from Ramya, Swamiji was VERY happy to > receive our goals and to offer them to Mahalakshmi for us during his > Cosmic Puja.
Guest guest
Ruchi, I feel for you - I really do. It is very difficult to strive in the world and yet remain unattached. The mud of the world sticks to everything it touches, so that even in the puja room it tracks in with you. I wish there were something I could say that would help you. I wish I had some wisdom to give you, but something tells me Maa already has. Jai Maa! Guest guest
Dear Ruchi, you'll understand I don't have the answers to your questions because this is something I think most of us wrestle with. But I'd like to share with you what I try to do in the hope it may help you in some small way. The dream you had, I think, is very important. It tells you that Mother will give you anything you want, even if it is going to get you deeper into the mud (material concerns etc.). She knows that once your up to your neck in it, you'll really cry out to Her for help because you don't want to drown in mud. So, perhaps, holding on to that dream, you don't want to wait untill you're up to your neck, and tell Mother that you love Her and that it is up to Her to give you what She thinks is best for you right now. Let Her decide if and when you go on vacation etc. If you tell Her you're hungry, would She give you stones to eat? Of course not. But if you feel hungry and think 'o, I must get some food first before I can go to Mother', you are so busy getting food that She cannot find you to give you anything. I won't say that some material comfort is unimportant and I am not saying that you should just sit and wait for money and things to fall into your lap. We must all work, and I do understand that you want the best for your son and some measure of comfort. But Mother also works, and She also wants the best for Her son. That son is you, and if you can let Her work through you, I'm sure She will look after you and your family. In order to let Mother work through us, we must remember it is She who does everything. In the course of the day, we forget. So it is, I think, a good idea to take a picture of Her with you to work, to repeat Her name, in short, to do everything you can to remind you of Her. Try to remember Her before you go out the door or start something new. Try to remember Her when you take a short break, or when having lunch. Try to see Her in people you meet on the street or at work. You say in your heart you love Mother. That's because She lives there. Go see Her often and I am sure She'll arrange things for the best. Of course it is good to have some time set apart for puja etc., but if that is not possible, you can string many minutes, or seconds even, of remembrance together and make a beautiful necklace to offer Her in appreciation for what She is already giving you. with love, Henny -- In , "ruchibabbar" <Ruchi.Khanna@d...> wrote: > -Dear Group members, > > There have been some questions on my mind for some time and I was > wondering if you experienced folks can help me sort this out. > > I know in my heart I love mother but I also desire comfortable life > money and stuff. Guest guest
Ruchi, You have had plenty of answers. I hope the same spirit pervades them all. If this is not difficult, we are not paying attention! Here is a thought I apply some times when facing issues like this: God and karma have placed me here, EXACTLY as I am, EXACTLY where I am. So THIS is my spiritual challenge this life. OM. MAY I HAVE STRENGTH AND WISDOM to proceed. Like Nanda says take 5 minutes. Take even 1/5 of a second. Find a leaf and offer it mentally to Shiva. This will start the mind's process of turning. , "ruchibabbar" <Ruchi.Khanna@d...> wrote: > -Dear Group members, > > There have been some questions on my mind for some time and I was > wondering if you experienced folks can help me sort this out. > > I know in my heart I love mother but I also desire comfortable life > money and stuff.
