Guest guest
Dear Henny, Thanks for your response. This is just my take, to my mind 'the process of accomplishing imperfect effects' signifies tasks that seem impossible. At times things happen in our world and we wonder - now how was that accomplished? That thing that at first seem so unattainable and difficult just fell into place with no effort although we would have worried ourselves sick (imperfect effect) wondering how it would get done. I believe that it could also, as you suggested, be a process of transformation (stilling the mind). The Guru also protects us from the influence of the planets which I think to be as a result of our planetary configuration at birth. Henny, maybe you should summarise your queries so that they can be sent to Swamiji for his advice, this is the only way that we can be sure of the meaning. Are effects by definition imperfect because they are partial manifestations of the source but not the source Itself?Does it mean that, as we go through life, we are in the process of transformation and on the path to perfection, and progress by 'accomplishing imperfect effects' (which progress is the Guru's grace)? The bad dreams/good dreams appear to refer to our desires; what do we dream about, what do we want to accomplish? What is in our minds? The fear of the nine planets is also puzzling: does it refer to certain cosmic influences in our lives, which are neutralized by taking refuge in the Guru who controls cosmic influences? questions, questions....I'll just have to meditate more on this (or perhaps someone could point me in the right direction?),with love,Henny --- In , Kali Kali <kaliananda_saraswati> wrote:> > Dear All,> > > > Here's todays verse -> > > > 144.
