Guest guest
Dear friends, Please share your thoughts on today's verse - 145. It is the eternal cause of all peace, the grantor of children to those who desire, the cause of averting the widowhood of woman, and always the giver of good fortune. Comments: This verse seems to say that the Guru Gita (by constant repetition) bestows peace and good fortune. It maintains the happiness of a married woman by ensuring that she does not become a widow and also grants children to anyone who desires such. What are your views? KaliaDo You ? Guest guest
my view is this is not to be taken literally, or, not to be understood by limited mind. the entire thrust of the chandi patah is to position your mind in the central point of peace, the emanation of creativity itself. this is of course where happiness emerges. so we are there, along with all effects, all feelings of security, insight, peace, higher knowledge. it is not a guarantee of physical outcomes, that is in god's hands. , Kali Kali <kaliananda_saraswati> wrote: > > Dear friends, > > > > Please share your thoughts on today's verse - > > > > 145. Guest guest
Kalia, The eternal Cause of Peace, is of course, Shiva, who is also Guru. There is nothing to compare with the compassionate care of the gurudeva for his students. For those on the path of the guru, misfortune may occur, but without a doubt, many difficulties are averted, and many blessings received. The feet of the guru are beyond valuation. Jai Guru! Jai Maa! Guest guest
In reading your response, I am thinking of something that I read on the web a bit ago which said "The Guru Gita is a geetham, a Song, It has been put in a poetic form. Poetry has its own intrinsic beauty, complete with its own meter, rythm and raaga. Poetry is concise, conceptualized, a skillful play of words deftly arranged to create a certain rythm full of concealed meanings. When you listen to the geetham, you have to contemplate to understand the meaning." Thanks Steve. Guest guest
that's right. the meaning might be, the widow finds her real husband is god. maybe everyone is a widow until then. the meanings are transcendent and intuitive. , Kali Kali <kaliananda_saraswati> wrote: > Dear Steve, > > In reading your response, I am thinking of something that I read on the web a bit ago which said "The Guru Gita is a geetham, a Song, It has been put in a poetic form.
