Our verse today -

147. If recited without the prescribed way or with personal desires,

then they will attain in another lifetime. All pain, fear, obstacles,

and curses will be removed.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Kalia,

As you can see, I something in this verse just doesn't seem to fit to

me, so I've left a question (practically a tome) for Swamiji.

Hopefully, he will bring some light...

Dear All,

To me this seems like such a promising verse, if I understood it

correctly. Even if one recites these verses to attain selfish

desires, the purity of the scripture (GURU)sets him or her on the

right course, if not in this life time than in the next one,and all

the blockades, all the prapancha or maya on the way are removed.

Yes, I definitely see what you mean, Ruchi. There are no curses with

this scripture, no warnings, no dangers, nothing but the compassionate

Guru, who helps us as He can, whether in this lifetime or the next.

It still seems to me, though (not to take away anything from what

you've said), that this verse is for one who is without the guidance

and help of the physical gurudeva.

Jai Maa!

We're really lucky to have these teachings. Even if we

aren't doing it exactly right, we can still obtain the

fruit of recitation.
