Guest guest
Namaste all, I am inspired by all of the homa discussion! Lately I've been thinking alot about building a homa pit and immersing myself in this practice. Can you all help by directing me to information that would be useful to me? I have attended numerous yagnas and homas but, as a practitioner, would certainly need much more specific information. Some of my very beginning questions have to do with the construction of the homa pit..(for a permanent homa pit): the vaastu etc. Can anyone direct me to information? Thanks very much. best love, sadhvi
Guest guest
I have learned from the Pundit who did my Nav Chandi Yagna that the Chandi Homa Pit should have 3 steps, the first being 4" high and 4" inside (colour dark blue), the second step 3" high and 3" inside (colour red), the top 2" high and 2" inside (color white). I hope its clear. this is how we always have it here at home. If you receive any other infom kindly share with me as well. Guest guest
Sadhvi, That sounds great! I've often thought about doing the same thing myself (I'm sure eventually I will), but something has been preventing me (maybe my asana). Hope you find what you need. Keep us posted, OK? Jai Maa!
