Lately I've been thinking alot about building a homa pit and immersing myself in this practice. Can you all help by directing me to information that would be useful to me? I have attended numerous yagnas and homas but, as a practitioner, would certainly need much more specific information. Some of my very beginning questions have to do with the construction of the homa pit..(for a permanent homa pit): the vaastu etc. Can anyone direct me to information? Dear sadhvi ~ I missed this discussion because I have been in the process of moving, but where I live now is a perfect setting to do a homa. When I saw Swami and Shree Maa in Colordao (I think) ... anyway, Swami build a fire pit out of wood on the bank of a river flowing right by. I know from reading Sahib Sadhu that Swami makes use of whatever he has around or with him and doesn't let circumstances or lack limit his worship. I would be interested in what he would say to this question I have wanted to ask: what is the simplest way to create a homa, without having to do constuction or pouring concrete or anything like that (which I cannot do here as it is a natural setting. Glad I caught your question ~ Linda
