Dear Kalia ~ this seems very simple to me, in a sense saying that when

you recite, that goal which is in your heart is what you will receive.

The Guru Gita doesn't judge in this instance. If you recite desiring

liberation, you will get that. If you recite desiring enjoyment, you

will get that. I don't know how far this ~ Linda

P.S. Hello again everyone. I have been in the process of moving my

trailer from a conventional rv park to an acre of natural land on a

friend's property. It is so beautiful here. Now when I look out any

of my windows or my door, instead of seeing an rv corral, I see

beautiful red rock, wild desert grasses, tiny white wild flowers

(just waiting to be offered to Mother), bright orange wild flowers,

different kinds of cacti, some of which is in beautiful bloom right

now with yellow and purple blossoms, oak brush and juniper trees, and

not too far off the beautiful mountains. It is so peaceful here, a

gift really. (Swami, did you and Maa arrange for this opportunity to

present itself?) : ) Blessings and greetings to all ~ Linda

OM NAMAH SIVAYA

this sounds like a beautiful setting. while certainly the blessings

of Swamiji and Shree Maa are beyond our comprehension don't sell

yourself short. a friend of mine recently told me that in all

situations in life, good or bad, we are the ones primarily

responsible for them. He said, "when you point your finger at

someone or something as the cause of your circumstance take a look

at your hand. there is only one finger pointing at them but there

are three fingers pointing back at you. We create our own reality."

Actually, Eric, I think it goes either way. The Guru Gita clearly says

that the guru is the cause of all circumstance. The Chandi says the

same thing (about Devi). So it seems there is a rather mysterious

confluence of effects.

I think the closer we are to the Guru (or Devi), the more we can

attribute our every circumstance to Guru.

Jai Maa!
