Here's our verse today -

153. In the Temple of Sakti or any other God. Where cows reside or

where any God resides is pure; under a banyan tree, at the feet of

the Creator, in a field, or in the forest of delight.

Kalia,

Where are the feet of the creator, not?

Besides Vrindavan, the city, what is the forest of delight?

Jai Maa!

Dear Kalia,

to me, this verse, and the other verses mentioning place, means that

we can recite anywhere. Our very body is the temple of God; where we

are, God is. Perhaps the various places are mentioned, because holy

places 'outside' bring our minds inwards to the temple 'inside', so we

can find more easily the inner space at the feet of the Creator?

with love,

Henny

Beloved Hennyji [and all],

i agree with what you have said here wholeheartedly! Our body most

certainly IS the temple of God. We are ALWAYS at the Feet of

God/Creater/Guru! Anywhere we stand is Holy Ground. It is only our

Negative thoughts[which are the breeding ground for selfishness] that

create the illusion of separation from the all-pervading Divinity!

i bow to your depth of understanding!

Jai Guru! Jai Chandi Shree Maa! Jai Shiva Swamiji! Jai Ramakrishna

Deva!

Your sister dancing on the waves of bliss,

muktimaa

visiting all the Sakti Pithas mentioned in the Devi Gita.

Well, I'll certainly try this out if I ever get the opportunity :)
