Of course, we are meant to extrapolate from the specific places given in the text. I wouldn't consider doing puja at Target or Walmart (unless they had been robbed or where in special need, of course). But I wouldn't hesitate to do puja in my red rock circle or out among the tiny white wild daisies. God resides in all places, but some are more conducive to making the connection.
